La
Zagaleta Country Club, one of the most exclusive residential
areas in Europe, is situated in one of the most beautiful areas
of the Costa
del Sol,
bordering to the North with the Ronda mountains,
only a few kilometres from Marbella
with breathtaking views over the Mediterranean Sea
to Gibraltar and North Africa.
La
Zagaleta is located in theBenahavis
hills, 400m above sea level, on the road that
links San Pedro with Ronda. All major towns on the Costa del Sol
are within easy reach. A little further field residents
find the cultural cities of Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada.
This
highly elite gated community of almost 900 hectares is
one of the last remaining private natural reserves in the
whole of the region and represents the ultimate in luxury
and tranquillity. La Zagaleta also protects the residents’
privacy and views by enforcing a minimum separation of
10 metres between plots. One
of the major attractions at La Zagaleta is the private Bradford-Benz
designed 18 hole, par 72 golf course which is one of southern
Spain’s superior courses, whilst a second 18 hole

La Zagaleta offers a various selection of species of animal
such as deer, buck, Hispanic goat, partridge and pheasant, all of
which enjoy their natural habitat in La Zagaleta and it is not unusual
to chance upon them on a trip around the countryside.
Approximately
300 hectares have been set aside for residential development,
where only the discerning few buyers will be able to build
their homes on plots measuring from 3,000m²
to 10,000m² plus. Additionally the residents have their privacy
and views protected by La Zagaleta, who enforces a minimum separation
of 10 metres between plots. When La Zagaleta becomes your residence,
you automatically become a member of the Country Club with exclusive
access to all its facilities.
Plot
prices start from around 1,500,000€ for a large plot
with mountain or golf views and range from 1,800,000€
to 3,500,000€ for golf and sea views.
Owners
and their guests can also enjoy fishing in one of the three private
lakes, tennis, a member’s only restaurant, a bowling
alley, clay pigeon range, swimming pool and billiard room.
There is also a private Riding Club boasting pure Arab and Spanish
horses together with four arenas and 20 stables, which are available
for the Club’s horses as well as livery for privately owned
horses. Further
services offered to members are on-site sales and administration
offices, a technical support department, operational heliport and
a contract with health service helicopters.
La
Zagaleta Golf and Country Club is currently recognised as the most
