Elviria
is situated between Marbella
and Calahonda, 30 minutes from Málaga's International
airport and has long been a popular holiday resort and is home to
the five star Don Carlos Hotel. Elviria is further home to the internationally
renowned Santa Maria Golf & Country Club, a challenging
18 hole golf course. Incorporating the beautiful port of
Cabopino as well as some stunning mountain scenery inland,

within easy reach of any of the facilities you might require on
the Costa
del Sol, which are all linked by the N340 coast
road.
The
attractive commercial centre of Elviria is reachable in 5 minutes
with its two supermarkets, pharmacy, doctor post, several banks
and nice bars and restaurants. Within 10 minutes or less you have
the commercial park of La Cañada. This Shopping Centre
is one of the best shopping centres on the Costa del Sol. Next to
a huge array of more than hundred shops, there is also has hairdressers,
restaurants, Alcampo Supermarket, bowling centre, arcade hall, cinema
and a state of the art gymnasium.
Elviria
does have good quality resale properties within the area,
but also it is worth while to look at properties in nearby towns
of Marbella
East where bargains often do come up for sale.
